Our new website to be unveiled in 14 days.
The gates will open! (at least this one...)
Aug. 18, 2019
In 14 days or less, before Labor Day, our brand new, totally revamped from the ground up website will be online. It has been in the works for 3 months, having its own ".com" address and no longer tied to Google Blogger and their confining dishonest, unregulated, conservative-restricted algorithms of oppression.
Our God always wins! Yeah, Lord!
We are grateful for the social media production company that has been assembling the pieces, and I know you will like it as I do. It will be easier to map your way around; see Now Think On This messages as always; news from around the world, especially Israel; and of course photos galore. Yes!
And...we will have the continuation of the LoveMusic! and "Walk With Me" videos as you have come to love too.
The Lord has often done great things in Laurie's and my life in the month of August (with the #8 - Hebrew word "chet" - man's ability to transcend limits of physical existence, teacher, new birth, abounds in strength.")
Jesus has done it again!
Jesus has done it again!
So...get ready. Almost set. Then let's go!

Always On Time - Now Think On This by Steve Martin
Steve Martin
“When He had said these things, He cried out with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth." The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Unbind him, and let him go." (John 11:43-44, NASU)
Lazarus was dead. Buried in the cave tomb. It had been four days after Yeshua (Jesus) had been told by the time He finally got there. And yet He was in no hurry to get to him. When it was time, it was time.
To give a good portion of the story as written in the Word, for the fuller picture, John tells it this way.
“Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. It was the Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. So the sisters sent word to Him, saying, " Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick." But when Jesus heard this, He said, "This sickness is not to end in death, but for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it."
Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when He heard that he was sick, He then stayed two days longer in the place where He was. hen after this He said to the disciples, " Let us go to Judea again." The disciples said to Him, " Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone You, and are You going there again?" Jesus answered, " Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. "But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."
This He said, and after that He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I go, so that I may awaken him out of sleep." The disciples then said to Him, "Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover." Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that He was speaking of literal sleep. So Jesus then said to them plainly, "Lazarus is dead, and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe; but let us go to him." Therefore Thomas, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, "Let us also go, so that we may die with Him."
So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off; and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary, to console them concerning their brother. Martha therefore, when she heard that Jesus was coming, went to meet Him, but Mary stayed at the house. Martha then said to Jesus, " Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. "Even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You." Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." Martha said to Him, " I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day."
Jesus said to her, " I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" She said to Him, "Yes, Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world." (John 11:1-27, NASU)
Lazarus was a good friend of Jesus. His sisters Martha and Miriam (Mary) were also close to Yeshua and were thus expecting Him to come as soon as He had heard of their brother’s death. But in order to show them, the disciples, those gathered in Jerusalem at the time, and later have this dramatic, miraculous event proclaimed to all the world through this written Word centuries later…Jesus came when it was time for Him.
He was in no hurry. He wasn’t going to miss doing His Father’s will. He knew when it was time to go and bring resurrection life.
It amazes me how the Lord is always on time. We think there are moments in our life when He is late; when He missed it; when our internal thoughts and often spoken words are, “If only it had happened when it was supposed to happen, it would have turned out right. If only He had done something when He should have done it.”
But because we don’t see the full picture, and God our Father does, He moves when it is the right time to move. He makes His move when it is exactly the right time. The Holy Spirit is always on time.
As with me on many occasions, it is the same for you I would imagine. You had prayed. You had sought. You have even worried, believing the Lord hasn’t heard, He isn’t moving, and it will never happen when it should have happened. It may even be dead and gone. Over and out.
You may even think that God Almighty, Whom we often consider is silent when it comes to something we are fully desirous of, isn’t paying attention at all to us.
But He is. Because He knows. He will do it in His time. And it will be the right time.
Don’t lose patience. Keep on keeping on. (Remember that saying decades ago?) Keep believing, keep seeking, keep looking up to the One Who knows when, where, how long, and how much.
All is in His control. Because He is Love, His promises are true, His acts are just, and HE WILL BE ON TIME. He is always on time, and you will see it happen for you too.
Shalom and ahava (peace and love in Hebrew).

Acceleration - Now Think On This by Steve Martin
Acceleration
Steve Martin
“But you, Dani’el, keep these words secret, and seal up the book until the time of the end. Many will rush here and there as knowledge increases.” (Daniel 12:4, Complete Jewish Bible)
“Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!” (The first nine Superman cartoons produced by Fleischer Studios from 1941 to 1942, and movies beyond.)
If you remember those lines from the original Superman cartoons and movie, then yes, you too know how time flew by back then. But that is nothing compared to how time is flying by. Now.
Even as the Jewish prophet Daniel proclaimed centuries ago, “This is a confidential report, Daniel, for your eyes and ears only. Keep it secret. Put the book under lock and key until the end. In the interim there is going to be a lot of frantic running around, trying to figure out what's going on.' “(Daniel 12:4, The Message)
Caught up in the desperate desire to “be all that you can be”, even many Christians are unaware of that which takes spiritual eyes and ears to discern.
Jesus (Yeshua) Himself declared, during the time He walked the ground in Israel, “Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.”
“In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,
'YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND;
YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE;
FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL,
WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR,
AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES,
OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES,
HEAR WITH THEIR EARS,
AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN,
AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.'
"But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.” (Matthew 13:13-17, NASU)
Spiritual eyes and ears, together with having the mind of Christ, are necessary to see, hear, and understand the acceleration that is taking place in our time. Though with the human eye one can see the prominent, rapid increase in technology, medical advances, and scientific discoveries that the Lord has permitted man to unlock, yet in the spiritual realm all too many are virtually unaware of what is happening in the heavenlies, and on the earth itself. And all this while they are clueless as to what is actually going on all around them.
Time has been accelerating, as we know it, since that appointed time of God the Father. All prophetic destinies since then have been fulfilling at a major clip on His timeline. It is in His ordained plan that He has been arranging, moving, advancing, promoting and giving placement to individuals and people groups. We have seen this, those with eyes wide open, taking place in the nations, and in particular, Israel.
Another major prophetic word fulfilled, that of Jerusalem coming fully under Jewish control in June 1967, during the Six Day War, further strengthens the coming together of the Lord’s purposes for this hour that we live in. And on the eternal timeline, it is occurring in but an hour, if even that very short amount of time.
As we keep our eyes on Israel, and in particular the capital city of Jerusalem, we will observe the nations all across the globe being prepared for that time when the continuing rapid decline into full anti-Semitism is fully ripe. Then another fulfillment of His Word, recorded in the Gospels, will take place.
As Jesus (Yeshua) spoke clearly, "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” (Luke 21:20-24, NKJV)
The acceleration process has certainly begun. Knowing what the Lord is doing will help you be ready for that which is rapidly approaching. I trust you will not be among those who will be surprised and caught off guard by the actions of the Almighty God, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the all-loving Redeemer of Israel, and the Gentiles who turn their face to Him.
Now it the time.

I Understand Schindler - Now Think On This by Steve Martin
I Understand Schindler
Steve Martin
“All the others gave what they'll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn't afford — she gave her all." (Mark 12:44, THE MESSAGE)
Oskar Schindler was a German industrialist and a member of the Nazi Party who is credited with saving the lives of 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust by employing them in his enamelware and ammunitions factories in occupied Poland and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. He was born April 28, 1908, in Svitavy, Czech Republic, and died October 9, 1974, in Hildesheim, Germany. (Wikipedia)
His grave is included among those of the Righteous Gentiles, in a cemetery upon Mount Zion in Jerusalem, Israel. Seeing the tomb covered with many, many memorial stones, as is a customary tradition for Jews visiting family and friends’ grave sites, to leave their mark of visitation with a stone, indicates the love and respect he still receives to this day. (*see photos below.) I have seen the cemetery many times, and his gravesite among many. It causes one to strive even more in committing to fulfill one’s destiny in the Lord’s commission He has given each one of us.
Seeing the movie Schindler’s List in 1993, depicting his final years in saving the lives of those 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust murderous years of World War II, caused a deep stirring personally in my life. I believe I can speak the same for many others who sat in those American and worldwide theaters, witnessing these dramatic salvations. (Schindler was portrayed by Liam Neeson, with the movie directed by Steven Spielberg (a Jew). The production won the Academy Award for Best Picture of the year.)
Finally, after these 26 years since the movie has been released, I am now understanding Schindler more fully. I get it. I “see the big picture” more fully.
I realize the deliberate passion he had, the divine purpose he lived, and the definite plans the Lord gave him to fulfill. Oskar Schindler was given a mission, and comprehending it fully or not, he gave all he had within and without himself, to the very last. He finished the race. He saved others from certain death.
The Apostle Paul, himself laid hold of, apprehended, by the Lord Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah, wrote this regarding who you and I are, in our respective calling.
“For just as there are many parts that compose one body, but the parts don’t all have the same function; so there are many of us, and in union with the Messiah we comprise one body, with each of us belonging to the others. But we have gifts that differ and which are meant to be used according to the grace that has been given to us.
If your gift is prophecy, use it to the extent of your trust; if it is serving, use it to serve; if you are a teacher, use your gift in teaching; if you are a counselor, use your gift to comfort and exhort; if you are someone who gives, do it simply and generously; if you are in a position of leadership, lead with diligence and zeal; if you are one who does acts of mercy, do them cheerfully.” (Romans 12:4-8, Complete Jewish Bible)
Each of us has been given an eternal purpose. Each of us were created, specifically molded in our mother’s womb (not to be murdered before delivery) to walk in the Creator’s awesome realm. We are not just living here on planet earth for our own happiness and pleasure. We have been wonderfully created and given a high calling, a diving strategy, a significant opportunity to live out that which we too have been apprehended for.
As Paul again says, and we certainly can too, “Not as though I had already attained, either were
already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:12-14, KJV)
Oskar Schindler finished the race. He took what he had been given and gave it his all. In the end, the deep, deep cry in his heart was to see more and more Jews freed from being herded onto the death camp trains, that would take them to the murderous gas chambers. He gave everything he had. And yet he so wanted to give more.
We too have a Savior. He Himself gave everything He had, coming from His throne in heaven, to give His life, even to the point of death on a horrible tree, experiencing a crucifixion of pain and suffering for you and I, to give us salvation and freedom, for eternal life with Him in heaven.
Don’t waste the life you have been given here on your own pleasure and self-seeking love. Give your life for the eternal purpose for which you too are to accomplish, in laying it down for others. You have a tremendous part in the salvation of others, giving and sharing the saving knowledge of the Gospel, through the life you live.
Your calling is great. The goal is there. It will take much effort and commitment to reach it. Even as Schindler gave all he had; even as Yeshua Ha Mashiach, the Ultimate and Only Savior of the world, gave all He had; so, we too must give all that we have.
But the eternal reward is so much worth it all.
